We felt a lack of a purpose-built fast, elegant, and modern tool that had it all in one place for service based-businesses, especially consultancies that we, the founders, had been working in.
Many modern, innovative, and general-purpose tools have been developed, but none specifically meet the needs of agencies and consultancies. They have a bit more at play than building a product.
They need all the features of the general purpose project management tools and then some -
- Time sheets, invoicing, documents
- Customer and employee management
- Cost vs. earnings analysis per resource and project
- Contractual aspects of service projects - hours and resources used vs. allocated
We were frustrated with the short list of old clunky Windows XP™ looking tools that we had to choose from. They all started at least a decade ago and have either been acquired by slow-moving enterprises or have lost the innovative, modern and elegant touch that software deserves.
We interviewed ~50 consultancy houses and we weren't the only ones in this boat.
Our Mission
Recognizing the gap in the market for a comprehensive tool designed specifically for service-based businesses, especially consultancies, we decided to tackle the issue ourselves. A tool for consultancies with the speed, elegance, ease of use, and functionality they deserve as time is literal money. Having confirmed the widespread dissatisfaction with current options, we embarked on creating an all-in-one suite.
It is not just about features; well designed elegant tools can change how you and your team feel about work. Our aim to bring back the same feeling of ease, convenience, and pleasure we felt when going from letters to emails, spreadsheets to dashboards, and landlines to smartphones. If we can hit an inkling of that feeling, we did what we set out to do.
